| Clarence H. Brown, III, MD |

| Dr. Brown is the president and CEO of M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando. Board certified in internal medicine and hematology, Dr. Brown has been an integral part of Orlando Health since 1975.
He received his medical degree (summa cum laude) from Emory School of Medicine in Atlanta and continued his studies at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and the National Cancer Institute. Before moving to Orlando, Dr. Brown was a faculty member of the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
Dr. Brown has served as president of the Orange County Medical Society, and has been a member of the board of directors of the Orlando Health Foundation, American Cancer Society, and Florida Cancer Control and Research Advisory Council. He has published numerous articles from his studies on blood platelets, bone marrow growth factors, and various cancers.
Dr. Brown has been the recipient of a number of awards including the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's "Man of the Year." In addition, he has been chosen as one of the Best Doctors in America by Woodward White publishing, named a Distinguished Physician by Orlando Regional Medical Center and listed in Orlando Business Journal's "Who's Who in Health Care."
Dr. Brown serves as an adjunct professor of medicine at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and as a professor of medicine at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. |

| Andreea Arsene - Weeks, MD |

| Dr. Arsene, an internal medicine specialist, is a member of the Cancer Medicine Department at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando.
Dr .Arsene assists cancer patients with additional urgent medical needs such as dehydration, fever, gastrointestinal symptoms and certain side effects of cancer treatment. She also participates in pre- and post-operative care of surgical patients with cancer who require medical management.
Dr. Arsene joined the team of highly specialized physicians at M. D. Anderson – Orlando after completing her internal medicine residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC). She earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in the West Indies and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biology from St. John’s University in New York.
At ORMC, she contributed to several research projects, including the study of the use of diuretics in hypertensive patients, and cancer survival rates in Central Florida. |

| Nicholas G. Avgeropoulos, MD |

| Dr. Avgeropoulos, serves as co-director of the Neuro-Oncology Department at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando.
Board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Avgeropoulos has been exclusively practicing neuro-oncology since completion of his fellowship training. Dr. Avgeropoulos’ residency training in neurology was at the Medical University of South Carolina where he was chief resident and subsequently completed neuroimmunology and neurovirology fellowships.
Dr. Avgeropoulos continued fellowship cross-training in neuropathology at Yale University/Yale New Haven Hospital and was then accepted into the neuro-oncology fellowship training program at Harvard/Massachusetts General Hospital. He was named as the first Pappas Fellow of neuro-oncology during his second year of training at which time he also completed clinical research effectiveness courses at the Harvard School of Public Health.
Dr. Avgeropoulos’ expertise includes the design and conduct of clinical and translational research studies advocating the health and benefit of neuro-oncology patients of all ages. Prior to his current position, he served as program director of Neuro-Oncology and medical director of the Office of Research Administration at Florida Hospital and was adjunct faculty at Duke University and at Moffitt Cancer Center.
Dr. Avgeropoulos has served as principal or co-investigator in many clinical trials and translational research projects. His current research interests include stem cells for therapeutic use in patients with astrocytoma, quality of life for brain tumor patients, natural complementary and alternative medications for treatment of brain tumors, and clotting abnormalities related to primary brain tumors. |

| Said Baidas, MD |

| Dr. Said Baidas, hematologist/medical oncologist, joined M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando in March 2006 as program director of the hematology/oncology fellowship program. For 16 years Dr. Baidas served on the faculty of Georgetown University Medical Center/Lombardi Cancer Center, where he held the positions of associate professor of medicine and oncology and director of the hematology/oncology fellowship program. Dr. Baidas has particular experience in the treatment of breast cancer, neurologic malignancies, hemostasis and thrombosis, and is a member of the Breast, Gastrointestinal, Hematology, Lymphoma/Myeloma and Thoracic/Head and Neck Cancers Departments. Dr Baidas completed his fellowship in medical oncology and hematology at Georgetown University and fulfilled his residency in internal medicine at State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. He has been published in professional journals including the Journal of Clinical Oncology, American Journal of Clinical Oncology and the Journal of Neuro-Oncology. | George Bobustuc, MD |

| Dr. Bobustuc, a board certified neurologist, oversees M. D. Anderson - Orlando's Neurology/Brain and Spinal Cord Tumor Departments for medical oncology.
Dr. Bobustuc received his medical degree from Carol Davila Medical School in Bucharest, Romania. He went on to complete a residency in neurology from the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas and University of Texas at Houston and a fellowship in neuro-oncology at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
The author of numerous articles, Dr. Bobustuc has made several presentations at the American Academy of Neurology's annual meetings. In addition to his writing, he taught courses at the University of Texas Southwestern and at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center.
Dr. Bobustuc's clinical interests include all aspects of neuro-oncology including: promotion of new biologic treatments and adjuvant alternative treatments for chemotherapy in central nervous system tumors. His research interests include the role of stem cells in new blood vessels and tumor formation.

| Luke Bolek, MD |

| Board certified in nuclear medicine and nuclear cardiology, Dr. Bolek serves as a member of the Nuclear Medicine Department with M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando.
Before joining M. D. Anderson – Orlando Dr. Bolek was chief resident and lead investigator of nuclear medicine at William Beaumont Hospital in Michigan. He completed a one-year residency in family practice at Columbia St. Mary’s Family Health Center in Milwaukee and fulfilled a fellowship in positron emission tomography from the University of Iowa. Dr. Bolek earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and graduated magna cum laude in biology from Carroll College in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Before attending medical school, Dr. Bolek served as an investigator for phase III clinical drug trials for the Wisconsin Center for Clinical Research. While attending medical school, he served as a histology laboratory investigator in the Graduate School of Biomedical Science at MCW.
Dr. Bolek is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Society of Nuclear Medicine, an affiliate member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and a member-in-training of the Radiological Society of North America. He holds medical licenses in Iowa and Florida.

| Dr. Bose, MD, PhD is board certified in general surgery and serves as a pancreatic surgeon for the Gastrointestinal Cancer Specialty Section at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando. Dr. Bose received both his medical and doctoral degrees from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Before completing his residency Dr. Bose served as a registrar in surgery at The Beaumont Hospital in Dublin, Ireland. He completed his residency in general surgery from The Johns Hopkins Hospital and his fellowship in surgical oncology from The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Bose has received several awards, including the 2009 and 2010 Merit Award from the Gastrointestinal Cancers Symposium. He is currently an associate member of the American College of Surgeons, an associate member of the American Association of Cancer Research and a fellow member of the Society of Surgical Oncology. He holds a PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology and has a long interest in cancer research. His current work focuses on chemotherapy resistance and gastrointestinal cancers. He has presented at several national conferences and has been published in several peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of National Cancer Institute, Lancet Oncology, and the Annals of Surgical Oncology. Additionally, he has contributed book chapters on primary and metastatic liver tumors, genetic profiling in colorectal cancer and molecular biology in surgery. Dr. Bose is currently an associate member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Association of Cancer Research, and a fellow member of the Society of Surgical Oncology. |

| Christopher S. Bryant, MD |

| Dr. Bryant is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. He serves as a gynecologic oncology physician for the Gynecologic Oncology Specialty Section at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando. Dr. Bryant received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. His specialty training in gynecologic oncology was completed at the National Cancer Institute accredited Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute. Prior to joining M. D. Anderson Orlando, Dr. Bryant served as an assistant professor in the department of obstetrics and gynecology at Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Bryant has received several honors and awards, including the 2009 Fellow Research Award from Wayne State University School of Medicine. He has published more than 25 articles in refereed journals and has made several national and international presentations discussing research and management of female cancers. He is currently a member of the Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Medical Association and the Florida Medical Association. Dr. Bryant is a fellow of the American Society of Clinical Oncologists and the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists. |

| Daniel J. Buchholz, MD |

| Dr. Buchholz is the chief of radiation oncology at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando and serves as team leader for the Breast and Gastrointestinal Cancers Departments.
Board certified in radiation oncology, Dr. Buchholz received the top score in the nation on the written board examination. He earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla and completed a general surgery internship at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Maryland.
Dr. Buchholz served his country as a primary care physician aboard the submarine tender USS Fulton and furthered his studies through a fellowship at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston where he was the chief resident in radiation oncology.
He remained on the medical staff in Houston, working with head and neck cancer and gastrointestinal tumor patients and joined M. D. Anderson – Orlando in 1995. Since his arrival he has participated in committees including serving as chairman of the Institutional Review Board for M. D. Anderson – Orlando.
For the past four years, Dr. Buchholz has been recognized by Orlando Magazine as one of Central Florida’s top doctors. He is a member of American Society of Therapeutic Radiology, American Medical Association, Florida Medical Association and the Orange County Medical Society.
His research interests include the study of organ and tumor motion and radiation targeting. Dr. Buchholz has published several articles on the effects of radiation on cancer of the colon and rectum. Additionally, he has initiated protocols on the use of radiation in treatment of liver cancer and in radiation targeting for breast cancer. |

She earned a medical degree from the University of Florida. Board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Chambers is a diplomat on the National Board of Medical Examiners. Additionally, she serves on the TransLife Organ Recovery Team.

Dr. Demers made numerous presentations at annual meetings and symposiums. | Dr. Dvorak serves as a radiation oncologist for the Radiation Oncology Specialty Section at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando. Dr. Dvorak received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. While there, he was a recipient of the merit-based Rudin Scholarship.He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Harvard University/Mt. Auburn Hospital. He completed his clinical research fellowship in radiation oncology at Mahidol University/Siriraj Hospital. Prior to focusing on radiation oncology Dr. Dvorak served as a healthcare consultant with Easton Associates where he focused on evaluation of new drugs, medical devices and health technology for venture capital firms, biotechnology companies and pharma companies. Before joining M. D. Anderson – Orlando, Dr. Dvorak served as chief resident in the department of radiation oncology at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. His research interests included health technology assessment with a focus on potential utilization of proton therapy and evidence-driven delivery of medical care. | Elizabeth Feldman, MS, DMD, MS, leads the Dental Section as part of the Thoracic/Head and Neck Cancers Department at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando where she provides maxillofacial prosthodontics/dental oncology services. Dr. Feldman received a master’s degree in medical radiation physics from Chicago Medical School, and then went on to earn her dental degree from Nova Southeastern University. She completed her specialty training in prosthodontics at the University of Florida where she also earned a master’s degree in science. She completed her fellowship training in maxillofacial prosthodontics and oncologic dentistry at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Dr. Feldman focuses on prosthetic correction and management of the head and neck cancer patient with maxillofacial rehabilitation needs. She is trained to make intraoral and extraoral prostheses. Her special interests include orofacial implant rehabilitation as well as taking care of patients with bisphosphonate and radiation osteonecrosis, chemotherapy and radiation therapy effects on the oral cavity. She has extensive experience with traumatic injuries and children with ectodermal dyspalsia and other special needs. Dr. Feldman’s clinical expertise unites dentistry with multiple medical specialties including head and neck surgery, plastic and reconstruction surgery, radiation and medical oncology, dermatology, pediatrics, speech pathology and psychiatry. She has written and presented on several topics involving maxillofacial prosthodontics. Dr. Feldman is a fellow of the American Association of Maxillofacial Prosthetics, a member of American College of Prosthodontics, American Dental Association, Academy of Osseointegration and a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. She is also fluent in Russian. |

Dr. Giusti earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He served as an intern and resident in pediatrics at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville where he also completed a fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology.

| A leader in the area of ovarian cancer research, Dr. Gordon, a board-certified gynecologic oncologist, serves as the Gynecologic Oncology Department leader at M. D. Anderson – Orlando. Dr. Gordon offers minimally invasive surgeries, including the daVinci® robotic Surgical System, for cervical, ovarian, uterine, vaginal and other gynecologic cancers. Dr. Gordon’s education and training includes a fellowship in gynecologic oncology from The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center and an internship and residency in gynecology and obstetrics from the Johns Hopkins University Hospital. He earned his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. In 2001, Dr. Gordon was honored for excellence in teaching with the National Faculty Award from the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has served as a faculty member at the University of Arizona, Baylor College of Medicine, Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Texas Tech University’s Health Sciences Center. Dr. Gordon’s research interests include ovarian cancer, especially evaluating new therapies for ovarian cancer, and gestational trophoblastic disease, a group of several diseases involving the abnormal growth of cells inside a woman's uterus. Dr. Greenberg received her medical degree from Ternopolskij Medical School in Ternopol, Ukraine. Her education and training includes completing an internship and residency in internal medicine from Sinai Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. | Dr. Hajdenberg oversees M. D. Anderson - Orlando's Genitourinary and Hematology Department. He also serves on the leukemia, lymphoma/myeloma and breast cancer departments.
Most recently Dr. Hajdenberg, a medical oncologist and hematologist, served as an affiliate physician at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa and as an assistant clinical professor at the University of South Florida's College of Medicine.
Fluent in English, Spanish and French, Dr. Hajdenberg received his medical degree from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Cooper University Hospital at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Hart fulfilled a residency in nuclear medicine at the University of Texas at San Antonio and Brooke Army Medical Center in Fort Sam Houston, Texas. She completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. She earned her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. Before joining M. D. Anderson – Orlando, Dr. Hart served as co-director of nuclear medicine at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida, where she also was a partner with Clearwater Imaging Associates. She is a former affiliate of H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. Prior to coming to Florida, she served as assistant chief of Nuclear Medicine at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Dr. Hart served on the faculty of the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland, as an assistant professor and teaching fellow. She practiced internal medicine at the Kimbrough Army Community Hospital in Fort Meade, Maryland, and at Darnall Army Community Hospital in Fort Hood, Texas. A Major in the United States Army from 1983 to 1993, Dr. Hart was awarded a Meritorious Service Medial and Army Commendation Medal. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Nuclear Medicine and the International Society of Clinical Densitometry. | Dr. Herrera, thoracic surgeon, is a member of the Thoracic/Head & Neck Department at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando. He joins M. D. Anderson– Orlando from The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston where he served as chief resident of thoracic surgery. Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Herrera graduated suma cum laude with his medical degree and magna cum laude with a bachelor’s in biology from the University of Puerto Rico. He fulfilled a general surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh and a cardiothoracic surgery residency at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center and the Texas Heart Institute in Houston, focusing on thoracic surgical oncology. Specializing in surgery for all thoracic malignancies, Dr. Herrera has particular interest and expertise in multimodality (chemotherapy/radiation/surgery) treatment for lung and esophagus cancers. In addition, he often performs minimally invasive thoracic surgery including videothoracoscopic (VATS) lobectomy and laparoscopic/thoracoscopic esophagectomy. Another minimally invasive approach he uses is the da Vinci® Surgical System for removal of small tumors in the mediastinum (chest) and esophageal surgery, as well as for pulmonary resection of lung cancers. | Dr. Juan Herran, pulmonologist, is a member of M. D. Anderson – Orlando’s Thoracic Care Center. Board certified in internal medicine with subspecialty certifications in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine, Dr. Herran is a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners. At Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC), Dr. Herran has served as chairman of the medicine department and as medical director for the Intensive Care Unit and Progressive Care Unit. | Dr. Wayne Jenkins, radiation oncologist, serves as medical director/vice president of medical affairs at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando. He attended Vanderbilt Medical School and completed his residency in radiation oncology at the University of Virginia where he was chief resident. In addition, he received his master’s in health policy and administration from Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Jenkins is a member of the American College of Radiation Oncology and serves as chair of the Congressional Relations Subcommittee of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiologists and Oncologists. He has been the principal and co-principal investigator for the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group, Pediatric Oncology Group and Brain Tumor Cooperative Group. He currently serves on the Florida Cancer Control and Research Advisory Board, appointment by the Governor of Florida. His research and publications include articles regarding the use of adaptive radiotherapy, cancers of the sinuses and nasal cavity, and radiotherapy of salivary gland tumors. His clinical activities within M. D. Anderson – Orlando include serving as radiation oncology section chief for neurological tumors, lymphomas and melanomas / sarcomas. | Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Johnson is a medical oncologist at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando. He serves as a member of the Hematology, Melanoma/Sarcoma and Thoracic/Head & Neck Cancers Departments.
Dr. Johnson fulfilled a fellowship in hematology/oncology from Brown University Medical School’s teaching hospitals in Providence, Rhode Island. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Orlando Regional Medical Center. Dr. Johnson earned his medical degree from the University of Florida and graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s in chemical engineering from Florida A&M University.
As a medical student, Dr. Johnson was the recipient of the Mark Herrbold Award, which recognizes outstanding academic accomplishments during the first three years of medical school. Anderson in Houston, assistant instructor at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Department of Surgery and a clinical assistant Instructor at SUNY-Downstate Medical Center Department of Surgery.

| Richard Klein, MD, MPH, oversees M. D. Anderson – Orlando’s Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Department and is a member of the Breast Care Center at Orlando Regional Medical Center. Board certified by the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Klein specializes in advanced cosmetic and reconstructive surgery procedures of the face and body. His area of expertise is in microvascular perforator flap reconstruction of the breast, head/neck and extremities after cancer resection and trauma wounds. Dr. Klein joins the center from H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute and the University of South Florida, where he served as an assistant professor of plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Klein received his medical and public health degrees from Tufts University School of Medicine. He trained in general surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and a four-year research fellowship in trauma and burn surgery preceded his residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Michigan (UM) School of Medicine. His research culminated in being awarded a prestigious five year research grant from the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute at the National Institutes of Health as a research fellow at UM. Following his research he completed a plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at UM and was named chief administrative resident. | Dr. Mañon, whose specialty is thoracic, head and neck cancers and gynecologic oncology, is a radiation oncologist with M. D. Anderson - Orlando.
He completed a residency in radiation oncology at the University of Wisconsin (UW), an internship in internal medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami and earned a medical degree from the University of Florida. At UW, he served as the chief resident of radiation oncology during his final year and as an instructor in radiotherapy technology.
Dr. Mañon brings a wealth of experience in helical tomotherapy to M. D. Anderson - Orlando. Through the University of Wisconsin, where tomotherapy was created, he is researching and developing more aggressive treatments for cancer, with the aim of improving cancer cure rates while maintaining a clinically acceptable level of side effects.
Fluent in Spanish and English, Dr. Mañon received the Outstanding Achievement in Science, Engineering and Mathematics Award from the Office of Naval Research. For the past seven years he served as medical director of nuclear medicine at Southwest Florida Regional Medical Center & Radiology Regional Center in Fort Myers. | Dr. Milas is board certified in general surgery and serves as a head and neck surgical oncologist and microvascular reconstructive surgeon for M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando. He completed his general surgery residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he also completed a transplant immunology research fellowship. His research investigated transplant immune tolerance and islet cell transplantation using costimulation blockade. He completed his residency training in radiation oncology at the Harvard Radiation Oncology Program where he received a resident research grant from the Radiologic Society of North America. After completing his bachelor of arts in biology at Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Ramakrishna went on to the Medical Scientist Training Program at Cornell University Medical College where he received his medical degree, and a doctorate in cell biology and genetics from Cornell University Graduate School of Medical Sciences. After an internal medicine internship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, he completed a residency in radiation oncology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was the chief resident. He also completed a Koch Research Fellowship in Gene Therapy at The Johns Hopkins Hospital Oncology Center and Brady Urological Institute and received an AACR-Glaxo Wellcome Oncology Scholar Award. Dr. Ramakrishna served for eight years on the faculty of Harvard Medical School where he was an Instructor in Radiation Oncology. Dr. Rineer graduated magna cum laude with his medical degree from State University of New York – Downstate, where he also completed his residency in radiation oncology and served as chief resident. During his residency, he became a recipient of the 2008 and 2009 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Foundation Award for original research presented at the ASCO annual meeting. He was an advanced radiation oncology fellow at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston where he gained extensive experience in applying advanced technologies to lung cancer and other thoracic malignancies. Dr. Rineer's primary research interests include improving outcomes through the application of multi-modality treatment in lung and esophagheal cancer. He has presented his original research at top national and international meetings, including the annual meetings of the American Society of Radiation Oncology, the Canadian Association of Radiation Oncology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Rineer has also published several peer-reviewed articles in high-impact journals such as Chest, Cancer, Radiotherapy and Oncology and the Journal of Thoracic Oncology. He is currently a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Society of Radiation Oncology. |

| Mark Roh, MD, serves as the chairman of the Department of Surgery at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando. An internationally renowned liver cancer surgeon, Dr. Roh also serves as the academic chairman for the Department of Surgery for the Graduate Medical Education Program at Orlando Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Roh received his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed his surgical residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He fulfilled a clinical and research fellowship in surgical oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Previously, he served for 10 years as chief of Liver Tumor Surgery at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He also graduated from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business with a master’s degree in Medical Management in 2007.
Dr. Roh comes to Central Florida from Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh where he was chairman of the Department of Surgery and professor of Surgery at Drexel University College of Medicine.
Additionally, he has served in numerous leadership positions in international oncology organizations. Since 1994, Dr. Roh has served as the executive editor of the Annals of Surgical Oncology. He has also been recognized by his peers as one of the Best Doctors in America every year since 1992. He is the associate director of Medical Affairs at the National Surgical Breast and Bowel Project (NSABP), an NIH supported clinical trials foundation, and he has published hundreds of articles in peer-reviewed journals and lectured nationally and internationally. |

| Charles J. Rosser, MD, MBA is board certified and serves as a urologic oncology physician for the Genitourinary Cancer Department at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando.
Dr. Rosser received his medical degree from the Robert Wood Medical School in New Jersey. He served in the U.S. Naval Reserves and completed a residency in general surgery and urology at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in urologic oncology at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston where he was an American Foundation Urologic Disease Scholar. Prior to joining M. D. Anderson – Orlando, Dr. Rosser served as the director of Urologic Oncology at the University of Florida/Shands Hospital in Jacksonville.
Dr. Rosser has published several articles in peer reviewed journals and books regarding research on various therapies and techniques for addressing prostate cancer, bladder cancer and testicular cancer.
He is a member of the American Association of Clinical Urologists, American Association for Cancer Research, the Society of Urologic Oncology and the Florida Medical Association. |

| Dr. Sarriera is a medical oncologist/hematologist at M. D. Anderson - Orlando. He received his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico and did his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Washington University School of Medicine. He completed a fellowship in medical oncology/hematology at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston where he underwent specialized training in lymphoma, leukemia and multiple myeloma.

| Internationally recognized for her expertise in minimally invasive surgery, Veronica Schimp, DO, is a member of M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando’s Gynecologic Cancers Department. Dr. Schimp is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and has focused her career on improving the health of patients and preserving fertility in young women afflicted with cancers of the reproductive system. Her research interests include cervical, ovarian and uterine cancers with an emphasis in racial disparities and cancer outcomes. Before joining M. D. Anderson – Orlando, Dr. Schimp served as director of inpatient surgery, cancer center chairwoman and co-director of Minimally Invasive Surgery program at Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Center in Detroit. Also, she served as a clinical educator at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Dr. Schimp completed a post-doctoral fellowship in gynecologic oncology at M. D. Anderson in Houston and earned a doctorate in osteopathy from Michigan State University. She completed a two year residency in general surgery at St. John/Oakland General Hospital in Madison Heights, Michigan, and a four year residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Hutzel Hospital/Wayne State University in Detroit. As the author of chapters in two medical books and numerous published articles and case studies on cancer of the female reproductive organs, Dr. Schimp has presented at more than 50 seminars and conferences. She has been recognized as one of Detroit’s top doctors by HOUR Detroit Magazine. | Nikita C. Shah, MD |

| Dr. Shah is the Breast Cancer Department leader at M. D. Anderson - Orlando. In addition, Dr. Shah is the medical director of the Cancer Risk Evaluation Program.
She received her medical degree from Baroda Medical College, India, and did an externship in the Emergency Department at Methodist Hospital in Indiana. While she was a medical student, Dr. Shah had the highest annual score in Forensic Medicine and also received an Outstanding Medical Student award. Dr. Shah completed her residency training in internal medicine at St. Francis Hospital in Illinois, and a fellowship in hematology/oncology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
As part of her internship and residency, she mentored second- and third-year medical students in various disciplines including medicine, obstetrics-gynecology, general surgery and ophthalmology. In addition, she instructed medical residents and students on a variety of hematology/oncology related topics. Dr. Shah is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology.

| Dr. Shellenberger, head and neck surgeon, is a member of the Thoracic/Head & Neck Department at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando. He holds certification from the American Board of Surgery.
Dr. Shellenberger comes to M. D. Anderson - Orlando from The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston where he recently completed a clinical and research fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology. He also completed the Physician-Scientist Training Program in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences of University of Texas at Houston. Additionally, Dr. Shellenberger fulfilled fellowships in oral and maxillofacial tumor and reconstructive surgery and in hyperbaric medicine and problem wounds at Jackson Memorial Medical Center at the University of Miami.
He completed his internship and residencies in oral and maxillofacial surgery and general surgery at Jackson Memorial Medical Center. At Jackson Memorial he served as the chief resident in oral and maxillofacial surgery and in general surgery. Dr. Shellenberger holds doctorates in medicine from the University of Miami and in dental medicine from the University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Shellenberger has received numerous awards including the Young Investigator Award from the American Society of Clinical Oncology, 1st place winner of the Bristol Myers Squibb Award in Clinical/Translational Research from the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center and the Byers Award from the American Head and Neck Society. He has published original articles in several peer-reviewed journals and authored chapters in text books of head and neck surgery. His translational research interests include angiogenesis, invasion and metastasis of squamous carcinoma. His clinical research interests include complicated thyroid cancer and sarcoma of the head and neck.

| Dr. Smith is a member of the Melanoma/Sarcoma, Gastrointestinal and Breast Cancer Departments at M. D. Anderson - Orlando. Additionally, he is on faculty as an assistant clinical professor at Florida State University.
Dr. Smith was chief surgical resident at Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he completed an internship in general surgery. He earned a medical degree from the University of Florida. Board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Smith is a diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners. Also, he serves on the board of directors for the Central Florida Chapter of the American Cancer Society.

| A member of the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Specialty Section at M. D. Anderson – Orlando, Robert Sutphin, MD, is board certified in general pediatrics and board eligible in pediatric hematology/oncology.
Dr. Sutphin completed his fellowship in pediatric hematology and oncology at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and his pediatric residency at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando. He earned his medical degree from Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine Marshall University in West Virginia and his bachelor’s at Midwestern State University in Texas.
Dr. Sutphin’s research interests include the development of novel therapeutic agents, cancer immunology and notch signaling pathway activity in myeloid leukemia. He has presented on these topics at annual meetings of the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
For 10 years, Dr. Sutphin served the United States Air Force as a medical laboratory technician/instructor. He was bestowed a Commendation Medal with one Oak Leaf Cluster and named Sheppard Air Force Base Junior Instructor of the Year.

| Dr. Tseng is the Thoracic and Head & Neck Cancer Department leader and the associate director for clinical research for medical oncology at M. D. Anderson - Orlando. She received her medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina.
She did her residency and served as assistant chief resident in Internal Medicine at Duke University Medical Center. She completed her fellowship in medical oncology/hematology at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Tseng is board certified in internal medicine and the specialty of medical oncology.
Dr. Tseng has received several awards and honors. Awards received include the C.D. Howe Award for Clinical Excellence in Medical Oncology and a Clinical Research Award from The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center; the American Medical Women's Award, Hewlett Packard Award, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Research Symposium Award from Duke University, and a Beneficial-Hodgson scholarship from Johns Hopkins University. | Jessica Vaught, MD, board certified in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), is a laparoscopic gynecologic surgeon and a member of M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando’s Gynecologic Cancers Department. In this role, she works closely with a team of medical and radiation oncologists to treat women with complex gynecologic conditions and gynecologic cancers. Dr. Vaught serves as a gynecologic surgeon at Orlando Regional Medical Center and Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies where she trains OB/GYN residents in laparoscopic surgical techniques. Using minimally invasive techniques, including the daVinci® robotic Surgical System, Dr. Vaught’s laparoscopic specialties include total hysterectomy, fertility sparing myomectomy, removal of ovaries and ovarian cysts, and surgery for chronic pelvic pain, including the removal of endometriosis. Dr. Vaught earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati. She fulfilled a residency in OB/GYN at George Washington University Medical Center, in Washington, D.C., where she also served as an assistant clinical professor of OB/GYN. In 2005, she was named chief resident of the year at Holy Cross Hospital, one of three facilities affiliated with George Washington’s residency program.
She has been published in Obstetrics and Gynecology and was a presenter at the 2006 American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists’ Annual Meeting. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. |
