  • Objective

Bone loss encountered during TKA often requires additional fixation and build up of the metaphysis with porous metal sleeves. Often there exists a defect in the proximal tibia, leaving a void between the proximal extent of native bone and the top of the sleeve. This study proposes a method of dealing with this clinical situation using bone cement.

  • Key Eligibility

Total knee arthroplasty patients using a metaphyseal sleeve.
