To compare functional outcomes and patient satisfaction for subjects undergoing traditional Ligament Reconstruction Tendon Interposition (LRTI) versus various methods of mini tightrope suspensionplasty for treatment of basilar joint arthritis.
Patients included in the study will be both male and female patients 18 years of age and older who present with radiographically diagnosed Stage II-IV basilar thumb arthritis as described by the Eaton and Littler classification system on either the right or left hand.
