Patient & Family Counseling
Counseling services are available for patients and family members during their hospitalization at Dr. P. Phillips Hospital. The services are geared for providing hands on emotional support during stressful adjustments to illnesses, life events, addictions, mental illness, and decision-making. All the counselors are licensed in the state of Florida and Master’s educated as therapists. They are sensitive to special populations and multi-cultural influences on the people they interact with and are knowledgeable of local resources for any continued special mental health or substance treatment needs.
