Dr. P. Phillips Hospital Construction Progress… Watch us Grow!
As Southwest Orlando experiences unprecedented growth, Dr. P. Phillips Hospital is experiencing further expansion of its facilities and services. Our new state-of-the-art five-story tower was recently completed and doubled the size of the hospital adding 330,000 square feet and nearly 140 beds. Many departments in the hospital, including the pharmacy and operating areas also doubled in size.
The 5-story expansion includes:
- 46 intensive care beds
- 48 progressive care beds
- 8 operating rooms
- 5 cardiac cath suites
- 48 pre-procedure /recovery beds
- Expanded imaging & non-invasive diagnostics
- New laboratory, pharmacy and sterile processing
- New central energy plant
- Renovated kitchen and dining areas
- Expanded support departments
We have also recently completed a new connector bridge to the parking deck.
