Most new patients who come to M. D. Anderson - Orlando are treated as outpatients in one of our 13 specialized multidisciplinary sections. These sections embody the team approach to cancer care that has become an M. D. Anderson hallmark. Each section is designed to treat specific types of cancer.
Our specialty sections bring together oncologists, surgeons, radiologists and other cancer specialists under one roof, so our patients do not have to go from one clinic to another for treatment. Some of our sections also include diagnostic services when possible.
