New President of Health Central Hospital Announced

Mark Marsh is the new senior vice president of Orlando Health, and president, Health Central Hospital. He brings the experience and expertise of a 23-year career in healthcare leadership, most recently serving as chief executive officer of Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, Tennessee. His prior experience includes serving as the chief executive officer of Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Kentucky and Marshall Medical Center in Lewisburg, Tennessee. In all of his positions as CEO, he was responsible for operations, building physician relationships, and engaging employees at an acute care hospital.

Mark has held many community leadership positions including serving as a board member for the United Way, March of Dimes, American Heart Association, Red Cross and YMCA. He is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and has been honored with the Regent’s Award and Young Healthcare Executive of the Year Award for Tennessee.

He holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Western Kentucky University. 

Mark will assume his new role as president at Health Central Hospital May 1.
