A Culture of Caring

One of the primary reasons for Orlando Health’s continued success is that we approach every challenge by asking the same question: What is best for the patient? That simple question commits us not just to the highest standards in the delivery of medical services, but also to a culture of caring that is embraced by team members at all levels of the organization. That culture compels us to bring not only knowledge and skill to the patient’s bedside, but compassion as well.
In the pages of our 2009 Careholder’s Report we illustrate our culture of caring hard at work – stories about patients and families and the doctors, nurses, therapists, paramedics, technicians and volunteers within Orlando Health who look after them – people for whom going the extra mile to help a patient is simply standard operating procedure.
