Together, We Can All Breathe Easy

Effective July 1, 2008, all Orlando Health campuses will become tobacco-free.

Orlando Health is a community leader in healthcare. Our mission to improve the health and quality of life of individuals and communities we serve extends beyond the walls of the hospital to the entire community, thus promoting an environment dedicated to the overall wellness of patients, team members and visitors.

Orlando Health is not alone!
Orlando Health joins more than 400 hospitals across the nation that are now tobacco-free, including Mayo Clinic, Duke University, and Cleveland Clinic.

What is a tobacco-free campus?
Our tobacco-free policy is intended to create a healthier environment for everyone who comes to Orlando Health whether as a patient, visitor or team member. A tobacco-free campus means that all designated smoking areas will be eliminated and the use of all tobacco products (e.g., cigarettes, cigars, chewing tobacco, pipes, etc.) is prohibited on or in all facilities used by Orlando Health. This includes parking areas or parking lots and garages, and personal vehicles parked on campus grounds, whether owned or leased by Orlando Health.

The good news is no matter how old you are, it’s never too late to improve your health by kicking the tobacco habit for good.
