Your Healthy Heart Screening will include the following:
> Blood Cholesterol Screen
HDL & LDL Cholesterol Levels, Total Cholesterol/HDL ratio, Triglyceride Level
> Blood Sugar Level
> Blood Pressure
> BMI
> One-on-one consultation with a cardiac rehabilitation specialist
The Healthy Heart Screening is offered as an opportunity to educate you about the potential for heart and artery disease and what can be done to lessen the chance of a heart attack. You will receive your results during your appointment and a copy will be mailed to your primary care physician. We recommend that you follow up with his or her office for additional care. If you do not have a primary care physician, we will be glad to provide the names of several doctors who can assist with your needs.

MENDED HEARTS SUPPORT GROUP

Mended Hearts is a national, non-profit organization, affiliated with the American Heart Association, offers support to individuals with heart disease and their family and caregivers. ORMC hosts a Mended Hearts Support Group. For more information, go to myormc.com.
The group regularly meets the 3rd Tuesday of every other month at the Lucerne Pavilion, 1818 Main Lane, Orlando in Classroom #1 or Orlando Regional Medical Center, 1414 Kuhl Ave, Orlando in the classroom from 6:45 PM until about 8:30 pm.
