Volunteers serve tea and a hot towel service called Oshibori to our patients on the chemotherapy and radiation floors weekly. These volunteers must be able to commit to attend each Thursday from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and/or the first Tuesday of the month from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Training is provided. Take the Art Cart around the units to allow patients, visitors and guests to express themselves through painting, drawing, braiding, sculpture or origami. Must have an ability and desire to show others how to create these crafts. Training is available for volunteers who are interested. The Art Cart visits both inpatient and outpatient areas within the hospital. Other types of crafts are welcomed upon approval of the volunteer manager. Monday – Friday, 9a-1p, 1p-4p and 4p-7p

Music Volunteers
We are in need of local musicians to come and play music for our patients in waiting rooms, lobbies, patient and family rooms. Singers are also welcome to come and share their gifts. We would love to have weekly scheduled volunteers to come consistently as well as episodic volunteers.
