Alan Chan, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine hospitalist at Orlando Health Inpatient Medicine Group. Additionally, Dr. Chan serves as a clinic physician at Shepherd’s Hope, Orlando. He also specializes in pediatrics.

Dr. Chan earned his medical degree at the University of Kentucky, Lexington. He completed his general residency at University of Missouri, Kansas City.

Previously, Dr. Chan was a pediatric hospitalist at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. Also at Children’s Mercy Hospital and Clinics, Kansas City, Missouri he performed research on epidemiology with the CDC dataset from the Hemophilia Treatment Centers. He has been awarded the Exemplary Physician Colleague Award at Orlando Health. He has presented at the American College of Physicians Missouri Chapter Conference. 

Dr. Chan is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Society of Hospitalist Medicine.

The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions, shown above, from our nationally-recognized Press-Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.

Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
