Mark Soliman, MD, is a consultant surgeon for UF Health Cancer Center – Orlando Health, specializing in colon and rectal surgery. Dr. Soliman is board certified through both the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgeons and the American Board of Surgery.

Dr. Soliman earned his medical degree from the University of Florida, where he was part of the Junior Honors Medical Program, graduating with his bachelor’s degree and medical degree by the age of 23 as magna cum laude. He completed his surgical residency at Baptist Health in Birmingham, Alabama, followed by a colon and rectal surgery fellowship at the Colon and Rectal Clinic of Orlando.

Dr. Soliman is the chairman of surgery of Florida Hospital Altamonte and is the associate program director and director of robotics training at the Colon and Rectal Clinic of Orlando's colorectal surgery residency program. He is also a consultant surgeon for the Florida Hospital Cancer Institute, and serves on multiple leadership committees at Florida Hospital Altamonte.

Dr. Soliman specializes in advanced robotic surgery, laparoscopic colon surgery for benign and malignant disease, evolving techniques in transanal minimally invasive surgery for sphincter preservation, anal physiologic testing for chronic constipation, fecal incontinence, anorectal ultrasound, and surgery for inflammatory bowel disease.
