Bio
Marshall C. Cress, MD, joined Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute in 2015. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and the North American Spine Society.
Dr. Cress earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed an internship and residency in general surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. He then completed a residency in neurological surgery at the University of Missouri, followed by a fellowship in endovascular neurosurgery at University at Buffalo Neurosurgery, New York.
Dr. Cress has a special interest in treating pathology of the intracranial and extracranial blood vessels, and in treating trigeminal neuralgia. He performs open and minimally invasive endovascular procedures for carotid artery stenosis, vertebral artery stenosis, arteriovenous malformations and aneurysms.
He also treats a wide variety of general neurosurgical conditions including brain tumors, peripheral nerve disorders and spine disorders.
Dr. Cress has been published in multiple journals, including Neurosurgery, the Journal of NeuroInterventional Surgery, the Journal of Neurosurgical Sciences, and Case Reports in Neurological Medicine.
