We ask that you call in advance to schedule an appointment. However, same day appointments are usually available in an emergency- especially if you call early in the day. All emails will be answered before the end of close of business the day received.
VERY IMPORTANT: If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you MUST call in 24 hours in advance. If you fail to cancel, re-schedule or not show, you may be subject to a fee.
Telephone Calls and Email Procedures:
The main number for our office is 407-296-1871.The main number is answered by our office staff during regular business hours. When you call during this time, with a problem or question, our staff has been trained to take all pertinent information and we relay the information to your Physician. Because your medical record must be reviewed by your Physician before we can return your call, please be patient, as it is in your best interest for us to have a thorough understanding of your medical history prior to returning your call.
Prescription Refill Requests: Prescriptions and all refills are issued during the time of your office visit. Please assess any refill needs prior to coming into the office.
Referrals: If you are calling for a referral we ask that you call our office at least 72 hours in advance of your specialist appointment. In order to avoid any misunderstanding, please confirm your referral with your insurance carrier.
Insurance: We participate with many insurance carriers. To confirm that West Orange Physician Group, Dr. Carlos Trillo, is participating with your insurance plan, please contact your health insurance company using the phone number on your insurance card. We will collect, at the time of your visit, any co-payments, co-insurance or unmet deductibles, along with any outstanding balance you may owe. We accept cash, checks, VISA, MasterCard and Discover.
If your insurance has changed since your last visit, please notify the receptionist when you call to make your next appointment and present your current correct insurance information immediately upon arrival at our office.
There may be services your provider orders that he/she deems medically necessary for your care that are not covered by Medicare or your insurance plan. We will do our best to advise you before you receive these services that there is a possibility that it might not be covered. You will be asked to sign a statement verifying that you will be responsible for the associated charges should Medicare or your plan not cover them as part of your insurance plan.
What to bring to your appointment:
- Your insurance card
- Any physician referral forms if required by your insurance plan
- A list of current prescription medications or over-the-counter drugs you are currently taking
- Any past medical records you may have
- A picture ID
New patients - please visit the forms section of our site to download a copy of the forms that are necessary for your provider to have prior to your visit. Please print these forms out and completely fill in the questions. Then bring them with you when come in for your first appointment.
