Morton’s neuroma occurs when the nerves between the toes are injured. Our orthopedic doctors are experienced in treating this painful foot pain. Our goal is to reduce the pressure on your nerves so you can get back on your feet and resume your activities.
We may recommend a change in your footwear or suggest that you use custom-designed shoe inserts to reduce pressure on your foot. We also may recommend physical therapy to treat your foot with exercises, stretches, massage and acupuncture. If your pain persists, we may consider surgery to remove either your affected nerve or the ligaments or other tissue that are putting pressure on it.
