As chief operating officer for the adult medicine and surgical service lines within Orlando Health Medical Group, Daniel provides operational leadership for employed physician practices, including surgical (trauma, acute and general), bariatrics, urology, orthopedics, neurosciences, pulmonary, infectious diseases and behavioral health.

Since joining Orlando Health in 2010, Daniel has served in various finance positions within Orlando Health’s physician enterprise, most recently as the director of finance for Orlando Health Medical Group. In that role, he was responsible for instituting short- and long-term financial planning, developing fiscally sound budgets, addressing operational inefficiencies, monitoring and responding to federal physician-care initiatives, and performing physician/service line projections.

Prior to joining Orlando Health, Daniel was a senior audit associate with Ernst & Young.

He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Central Florida in Orlando and is a certified public accountant. Daniel is a member of the Supervisory Committee for McCoy Federal Credit Union.
