As vice president of value-based care and population health since 2017, Jerry oversees a team that manages more than 200,000 lives in value-based care arrangements with five national health insurers, Medicare Shared Savings and Disney Worldwide Services — the largest direct-to-employer arrangement in the U.S.

Prior to joining Orlando Health, Jerry was senior vice president for Evolent Health, where he helped healthcare systems develop strategies for value-based care and managing under risk. Earlier on, he was the founding chief executive officer for Health First Health Plan, a provider-based health plan in Central Florida that served commercial and Medicare Advantage patients. In addition, he served as chief strategy officer and CEO for the 500-bed flagship hospital of the Health First System, Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida.

Jerry earned his bachelor’s degree and MBA from the University of Florida in Gainesville and is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
