As chief operating officer of Orlando Health – Health Central Hospital, Rick oversees the hospital’s daily operations, management and patient care, as well as its continued expansion. Those projects include the hospital’s $50 million emergency department expansion, the addition of 40 beds situated in a newly constructed patient tower, the new Orlando Health UF Health Cancer Center – Health Central Hospital facility and the Orlando Health Emergency Department and Medical Pavilion – Horizon West.

Before joining Orlando Health – Health Central in 2014, Rick served as the vice president of professional and ancillary services for the Bay Medical Sacred Heart medical center in Panama City, Florida.

Rick holds a master’s in health administration and is credentialed in radiology administration. He also is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and is a past president of the Central Florida chapter of ACHE.
