Sheila is the chief operating officer at Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies and the chief surgical services officer at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

Born and raised in Orlando, she joined the organization in 1980. During her tenure with Orlando Health, she was instrumental in the planning and opening of Orlando Health Winnie Palmer and has been a champion in the organization’s quest for top-tier patient satisfaction ratings. She also was influential in the hospital’s most recent national designation as a Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery.

Sheila began her career as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) and has held numerous positions in the organization, including corporate manager for endoscopy services, administrator for clinical support services, and patient care administrator for obstetrical services and women’s surgery.

She has a master’s in nursing from the University of Phoenix and is board certified as an advanced nurse executive. She is a member of the Florida Nurses Association and the Florida Organization of Nurse Executives. In the community, she serves on the board of Harbor House of Central Florida.
