Rafael R. Manon, MD

Rafael R. Mañon, MD, is board certified in radiation oncology and serves as a radiation oncologist for UF Health Cancer Center — Orlando Health.

Dr. Mañon received his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL. He then completed his residency in radiation oncology at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, where he served as chief resident.

Dr. Mañon has received several awards, including the Outstanding Achievement in Science, Engineering and Mathematics Award from the Office of Naval Research and the Exemplary Physician Colleague Award from Orlando Health. He has also authored several peer-reviewed articles and book chapters in the field of radiation oncology. He specializes in the treatment of head and neck, thoracic, and gynecologic malignancies with radiation.

His professional affiliations include the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society for Radiation Oncology, and the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group. Dr. Mañon is an Affiliate Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Florida College of Medicine. He also has faculty appointments at the University of Central Florida and Florida State University, and is fluent in Spanish.
