Program Overview

The Orlando Health School of Health Sciences offers a one-year certificate program designed to equip students with the skills, advanced education, and clinical experience needed to launch an exciting career in adult cardiac ultrasound - one of the fastest growing fields in the healthcare profession.

To graduate, students must pass the national credentialing exam, Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer (RCS), offered by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or the Registered Diagnostic Cardiovascular Sonographer (RDCS), offered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).

The Orlando Health Cardiovascular Technology program in Adult Echocardiography is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs upon the recommendation of Joint Review Committee on Education in Cardiovascular Technology (JRC-CVT).
