Administrator, Home Health

Education/Training - Master’s Degree required in Business or health care management.
Experience - Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a senior management capacity preferably in home health care or hospice.  Senior Management of a hospital-based or affiliated home care agency (preferred).  Minimum of three (3) years recent experience in home health care.

Director, Nursing - (Home Health) 

The Director, Nursing is responsible for overall clinical operations of the home health agency. The DON provides clinical leadership to staff and works in collaboration with the director to ensure the ability to effectively administer clinical programs of the organization.
Education - Graduate of an approved school of nursing. Bachelors of Science in Nursing or Business Administration.
Licensure/Certification - Maintains current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
Maintains current BLS certification.
Experience - Three (3) years’ experience as a registered nurse in home health. One (1) year leadership experience.

Orlando Health UF Health Cancer Center offers specialized cancer treatment through a multidisciplinary approach, meaning each patient benefits from the expertise of a team of professionals including medical, radiation and surgical oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, nuclear medicine doctors, advanced practice nurses and other support staff.

Orlando Health UF Health Cancer Centeris currently seeking a Board Certified or Board eligible Genetic Counselor to join our Cancer Genetics Program.

The Cancer Genetic Counselor provides assessments, facilitates testing and develops medical management plans to provide patients with detailed information about their cancer risk.


Master's degree required in Genetic Counseling.


Certified Genetic Counselor by the American Board of Medical Genetics (ABMG) or American Board of Genetic Counselors

(ABGC) renewed every five years.

Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician Practice:

FT BC/BE Genetic Counselor for large prenatal diagnosis program at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Infants (14,000 + deliveries/year). Position includes diverse patient population of prenatal and preconception patients, multidisciplinary care coordination, opportunity to participate in Ob/Gyn and Pediatric residency, staff and community education. Join 3 prenatal counselors and 6 Perinatologists. Collaborate with pediatric geneticist and genetic counselor(s) to service the world's largest NICU. Experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities (prenatal):

Provides assessment, diagnosis and counseling when necessary.

Facilitates communication across the spectrum of prenatal and pediatric subspecialists and implements process improvement strategies that improve patient care. This may include instructing patients on the process and protocols for consultation with pediatric subspecialists.

Assists in the treatment of patients and families with known genetic disorders, and of patients at risk for the development of these disorders.

Intervenes as a crisis and bereavement counselor in situations requiring genetic counseling.

Advise and assist staff upon the appropriateness of patient referrals and requisite medical records.

Obtain and review medical records.

Dictate letters to referring providers and, as needed, to patients to ensure accurate and timely feedback regarding patient encounters

Disclose normal and abnormal results to patients and referring physicians as needed.

Analyze and interpret clinical/laboratory findings.

Mentor genetic counseling colleagues as needed.


Master's degree required in Genetic Counseling.


Incumbent is expected to obtain Certified Genetic Counselor by the American Board of Medical Genetics (ABMG) or American Board of Genetic Counselors and move to 1938-Genetic Counselor, Certified. Failure to complete certification requirement within 15 months will result the incumbent being removed from this position and having to apply for positions for which he/she may qualify, with no guarantee of job placement.
