  • Objective

    The primary objective is to evaluate perioperative outcomes and demonstrate the improved recovery compared to multi-port robotic or open surgery. The variables for each type of surgery are listed in the attachments.
    Secondary objectives are the specific outcomes of each specific surgery.
    •   Radical prostatectomy objectives include oncological and functional outcomes (Urinary continence and erectile dysfunction)
    •   Partial or radical nephrectomy objectives include oncological outcome and renal functional outcomes
    •   Cystectomy objectives include oncological outcomes and renal functional outcomes
    •   Simple prostatectomy objectives include urinary symptom and uroflowmetry
    •   Reconstructive surgery objectives includefunctional outcomes

  • Key Eligibility

    Male and female adult patients 18 years of age and older undergoing single-port robotic surgery with the PI at Orlando Health. Ethnicity, race, and sex are not related to inclusion in the study
