Best Workplace for Diversity

Fortune announced today that Orlando Health has been selected as a 2019 Best Workplace for Diversity.

Best Workplaces for Diversity are known for creating a positive environment for all employees regardless of their diverse backgrounds. Orlando Health took the number 74 spot on the annual list.

Fortune determined the list rankings by partnering with research group Great Place to Work to analyze the experiences of more than 4.8 million employees from nearly 2,000 organizations across the globe. Key metrics related to equity and inclusion were benchmarked through anonymous survey responses reflecting day-to-day work life experiences.

Orlando Health is committed to building an inclusive work environment that allows the organization to embrace and operate in a multicultural community that encompasses workforce, workplace and marketplace. Some of the workforce and workplace diversity efforts include Recruitment and Retention, Diversity and Inclusion training, inclusive policies, language services and Cultural Awareness forums. Marketplace diversity efforts include Minority Business Development, Community Benefit, Community Relations, Government Affairs & Public Policy and Marketing.

Orlando Health was recognized for increasing employee diversity and inclusion in the workplace through programs that attract and retain diverse talent and support all team members regardless of ethnicity, gender, gender identity, age, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, education, culture and religion.
