Pulse Shooting Survivor Reunites With Officer Who Saved Him

Orlando (June 16, 2016) - Eatonville Police Officer Omar Delgado visited patient Angel Colon today at Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC).

Colon is a survivor of the Pulse Nightclub massacre the morning of June 12, 2016. He survived because Officer Delgado bravely pulled Colon, who was critically-injured, out of the nightclub to safety.

They embraced and talked about their experiences this morning in Colon's room at ORMC. It was the first time they had seen each other since the shooting.

Officer Delgado was accompanied by Eatonville Mayor Eddie Cole and Eatonville Police Deputy Chief Joseph Jenkins.
