The 2026 Trauma Games Information
The 2026 Trauma Games bring the heat with fast-paced, team-based challenges that put trauma skills, communication, and creativity to the test. It’s a day of friendly competition, high energy, and plenty of laughs—where bragging rights are earned and teamwork steals the show. Come compete, cheer, and celebrate trauma excellence at this year’s conference.
Team Composition: Multidisciplinary teams are strongly encouraged dues to some of the requirements during the team competitions. (physicians, nursing, paramedics, respiratory, pharmacy, rehab, xray, just to list some ideas).
Only up to 5 (five) participants per team - team members may be selected at a later date,but must be solidified before August 10th.
2026 Dr. Patricio B. Quijada Trauma Lecturer
This year's keynote speaker, David S. Shapiro, MD, MHCM, is a surgeon, trauma provider, and critical care physician with 20 years experience in hospital and community-based trauma care and leadership. He is the chair of the Connecticut ACS Committee and the chair of the ACSCOT Stop The Bleed Program.
