Mobile Maternity Clinic
Having reliable and convenient maternity care helps to keep you and your baby healthy and safe. That’s why the team with Orlando Health Center for Maternal Health provides women in the community with easy access to a Mobile Maternity Clinic, which brings essential prenatal care to communities where there may be limited access to maternal and OB-GYN care providers. The Maternity Mobile Clinic is open to any woman in the community in need of prenatal OB-GYN care. Our team is here to support you.
Services
Orlando Health Women's Institute Center for Maternal Health Mobile Maternity Clinic offers a wide range of services for moms and babies during their pregnancy and up to one year postpartum. This starts with full-service prenatal care, which includes regular prenatal checkups, ultrasound imaging, blood pressure checks, physical examinations and other tests.
After your baby is born, the mobile clinic will continue to care for you and your baby, including lactation consultations and postpartum care for one year after your delivery, focusing on your body’s healing and overall well-being.
- Prenatal care: This includes regular checkups with our care team throughout your pregnancy to prepare you for childbirth.
- Routine prenatal bloodwork: Throughout your pregnancy, our care team will perform routine blood tests to monitor your health and assess for various conditions.
- Fetal non-stress testing (NST): This test checks your baby's heartbeat patterns. Not all patients will require an NST, and this will be determined by your care provider.
- Routine prenatal ultrasounds: These are standard, non-invasive imaging tests done throughout your pregnancy to monitor your baby's growth and check for any abnormalities.
- Routine prenatal vaccinations: Certain vaccines are recommended for moms during pregnancy and will be discussed during your prenatal visits with your care provider.
- Postpartum care up to 1 year after delivery: This includes postnatal education, family planning support, including birth control, and help connecting new moms with needed resources after delivery.
