Heart and Vascular Rehabilitation
Following a heart attack or other acute illness, your cardiac rehabilitation program begins in the hospital will continue on an outpatient basis. The program includes:
- Education about your disease and risk factors that contribute to heart disease
- Medically supervised, monitored exercise regimen that includes individual support from exercise professionals
- Ongoing healthy lifestyle education, including good nutrition, exercise and stress management techniques
