Chakravarthy Raghavan, MD

Chakravarthy Raghavan, MD, is a cardiologist with Orlando Health Heart Institute. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases, clinical cardiac electrophysiology and nuclear cardiology. He provides services pertaining to all aspects of general cardiology including performing diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac rhythm abnormalities with special expertise in implanting devices such as pacemakers, implantable defibrillators and loop recorders.

Dr. Raghavan earned his medical degree and bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery from Stanley Medical College at the University of Madras in India. He then completed post-doctoral education in England and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom. This was followed by a residency in internal medicine at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, New York; a cardiology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston; and an electrophysiology fellowship at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago.

He is a member of the American College of Physicians and American College of Cardiology.
