Illena Antonetti, MD

Illena Antonetti joined Orlando Health Heart Institute July 2013 and is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Miami and went on to earn her doctorate in medicine at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, where she also completed her internship and residency, serving as Chief Resident. She continued on to complete her fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at the University of South Florida.

Dr. Antonetti has a special interest in non-invasive cardiology, including echocardiography, nuclear medicine, and women's cardiovascular health, including effects of hypertension and diabetes on women's hearts. She is a member of the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Antonetti is fluent in Spanish.
