Pablo Roberto Lopez, MD

Pablo R. Lopez, MD, FACC, is a board-certified invasive cardiologist with the Orlando Health Heart Institute Cardiology Group. He specializes in cardiovascular diseases, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and internal medicine.
Dr. Lopez earned his medical degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador in Quito, Ecuador. He attended a cardiology residency at Dante Pazzanese Cardiology Institute in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He went on to complete an internal medicine residency, serving as chief resident, followed a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases, serving as chief fellow, both at East Tennessee State University.
Prior to joining Orlando Health, Dr. Lopez served as an invasive cardiologist and chairman of cardiology at Appalachian Regional Healthcare in eastern Kentucky.
In addition to being published in several peer-reviewed journals and presenting at national and international conferences, Dr. Lopez is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and a diplomate of the American Board of Cardiovascular Diseases, Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology, National Board of Echocardiography, and American Board of Internal Medicine. He is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
