Why ORMC: I initially was interested in ORMC as it checked all the boxes of being a large, high volume Level I Trauma Center serving a huge diversity of patients with a massive breadth of pathology. It wasn’t until I was lucky enough to rotate here that I realized this was the place for me. The training was excellent, the residents were overwhelmingly happy, kind, and fun, and the program leadership and faculty were all incredible. I was looking for a tight-knit group of people to work with during residency, and I felt totally welcomed into their amazing family. The city of Orlando was such a fun place to live and had that lovely climate and location I was familiar with. I left my rotation having learned a ton and with that cliché warm, fuzzy feeling I was hoping to find.
