As chief nursing officer, Brigit Zamora collaborates closely with the healthcare team and nursing staff to enhance the patient experience and quality outcomes. She is a board-certified Nurse Executive with extensive operational experience in acute care that includes women’s health, surgical services and critical care.
Throughout her career, Brigit has served in multiple leadership roles, including director of nursing where she led operations and served as a strategic partner in the planning, building and opening of a new women’s hospital.
Brigit earned her bachelor of science degree in nursing from Advent University in Orlando and her master of science degree in nursing from Loyola University in New Orleans. She is currently pursuing a doctor of nursing practice degree at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. She is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives and is also active with the Orlando Health Corporate Nursing team with a focus on coaching and mentoring nurse leaders.
