Scaletta McGuirk

Christina McGuirk MSHA, BSN, RN, NEA-BC, CENP was appointed the Chief Nursing Officer of Health Central Hospital.  She is responsible for executive oversight of nursing services at Health Central Hospital and serves as a member of the Health Central Executive Team and the Executive Nursing Cabinet.

Christina received her Master’s degree in Science from the University of St Francis in Health Services Administration. Christina is also a local graduate of both Valencia Community College and University of Central Florida for Nursing. She is a Certified Nursing Executive at the advanced level by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Christina is a 21 year member of the Orlando Health system, who over her career has held various nursing leadership positions at several facilities. Currently she is Chair of Orlando Health’s Nursing Executive Council. Christina also partners with the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ)- Health Care Innovations Exchange on Patient and Family Centered Care.  She provided several presentations to the Learning Community on the Health Central Patient Family Advisory Program. She created a Patient Experience Program, alongside their Patient Advocate, with a focus on various touch points of patients visit. The program uses simulation to assist in coaching team members in various interactions connecting with patients and families.
