Jenni Simons, RN, CMSRN was appointed as the Hospital Nursing Practice Council Chair for Orlando Health Health Central Hospital. In this role, Mrs. Simons helps facilitate monthly hospital meetings for the hospital nursing practice council. She also serves on her unit nursing practice council as immediate past chair.
Mrs. Simons is a graduate of Lake Sumter Community College with an Associate of Science degree in Nursing. She is a registered nurse on the medical surgical unit at Health Central Hospital and is a board certified medical surgical nurse through the Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification Board.
In 2015, Mrs. Simons was a podium presenter at Orlando Health’s Nursing Excellence Conference; the presentation titled “A Long Journey Home” was well received by approximately 200 conference attendees. Mrs. Simons holds membership in the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses and the American Nurses Association.
