As the chief nurse executive and vice president at Orlando Health, Jayne Willis is responsible for executive oversight of nursing services for the organization and provides leadership for implementing the nursing strategic plan. She serves as a member of the Orlando Health Executive Cabinet, the Nurse Executive Council and the Executive Quality Team.
Jayne earned her bachelor of science degree in nursing from Florida State University in Tallahassee her master of science degree in nursing with a concentration in nursing administration from the University of Florida in Gainesville, and her doctor of nursing practice degree at the University of Central Florida (UCF) in Orlando. She is double board certified as a Nurse Executive-Advanced by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and certified in Executive in Nursing Practice by the American Organization of Nurse Executives.
For many years, she served on the board of Shepherd’s Hope, including as its chair. Currently, Jayne serves on the nursing advisory councils for UCF, Seminole State and Valencia colleges, and she sits on the community board for the Florida State University College of Medicine and is a board member for the American Heart Association. She also belongs to the Florida Organization of Nurse Executives and the Florida Bioethics Network.
