Maryam Hemmali led the Corporate Nursing Practice Council to streamline processes, improve patient outcomes and enhance the patient experience across all Orlando Health entities. A clinical registered nurse in the Emergency Department at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center, a Level 1 Trauma Center, Maryam was instrumental with engaging her colleagues to continually improve the nursing work environment.  

Maryam earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Central Florida in Orlando and her Master of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University in Broward County, Florida. She is board certified by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) in Adult Critical Care Nursing and is the recipient of the 2016 Orlando Health Nursing Excellence Award.
