Dr. Abhijit Patil is a board-certified and fellowship-trained neuroradiologist with Orlando Health Medical Group Radiology. He has been treating adult and pediatric patients in the Central Florida area since 2015 and has extensive experience as a researcher as well.
With his specialized training, Dr. Patil uses medical imaging to diagnose conditions affecting the spine, head, neck and the central and peripheral nervous system. His services include:

- Neuro-oncology imaging
- Diffusion tensor imaging (DTI)

Dr. Patil’s Training
Dr. Patil received his medical training from B.J. Medical College in Pune, India. He completed a diagnostic radiology residency at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, followed by a neuroradiology fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
Dr. Patil also has a Master of Science in biomedical engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He then worked in research in the medical device industry.
About Dr. Patil
Dr. Patil is certified in diagnostic radiology and neuroradiology with the American Board of Radiology. He is a member of the American Roentgen Ray Society and American Society of Neuroradiology.
He has published or presented research more than a dozen times on topics that include cerebellar embryology, grafts and implants in the head and neck, radiation safety practices and appendiceal diverticulitis, which presents similarly to appendicitis.
