Alina Stanica, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician with Orlando Health Physician Associates.
Dr. Stanica attended medical school at Victor Babes University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Romania, where she completed a residency in allergy and immunology. She went on to complete a pediatrics residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center, Queens, New York. Her residency there included rotations with the pediatric intensive care unit and hematology/oncology department at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, Bronx, New York. She also completed a cardiology rotation at New York–Presbyterian Hospital.
Prior to joining Orlando Health, Dr. Stanica provided pediatric care in hospital and physician practice settings over a period of eight years in Florida, Iowa and New Mexico.
Dr. Stanica is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In addition to English, she speaks Spanish, Romanian and Hungarian.
