Bernadette Antonyrajah, MD, FAAP, is a pediatrician with Orlando Health Physician Associates and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics Society of Critical Care Medicine (FAAP). She specializes in providing compassionate care for children and their families experiencing chronic or life-threatening diseases with a special interest in nutrition and exercise for children’s health.
Dr. Antonyrajah earned her medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and bachelor’s degree in biopsychology and chemistry from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She completed an internship at Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Ayelesbury, England, and a pediatric residency at the University of Toledo Medical Center. After serving as a hospitalist at Toledo Children’s Hospital, Dr. Antonyrajah completed her fellowship in pediatric critical care at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland.
In addition to caring for children, she also is an assistant professor at University College Florida and a committee member of Runway to Hope, an organization that provides support to children and their families affected by pediatric cancer. She has spent a number of years practicing pediatrics and pediatric critical care.
