Brendan Suhr is a certified family nurse practitioner at Orlando Health Physician Associates. He specializes in providing primary healthcare services to patients 18 years and older and his skills include:
- Assessing and diagnosing health conditions
- Conducting routine physicals
- Developing and carrying out treatment plans for acute and chronic illnesses
- Providing primary health care with an emphasis on preventive care
- Prescribing medications and other therapies
- Ordering and interpreting lab and other diagnostic tests
- Assisting in minor surgeries
He joined Orlando Health in 2015 and has cared for critically ill and medically complex patients in intensive- and progressive-care units at Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital.
Brendan’s Training
As an undergraduate, Brendan studied history at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. He received his bachelor’s degree in nursing from ECPI University College of Nursing in Lake Mary, Florida, and went on to earn his Master of Science in nursing (MSN) with certification as a family nurse practitioner (FNP) at ECPI University’s Virginia Beach, Virginia, campus.
