Bio
Bridgette Berkowitz is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) with the Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute. She cares for patients with memory disorders and has experience with:
- Cognitive disorders
- Normal pressure hydrocephalus
- Alzheimer’s disease
- Vascular dementia
- Frontotemporal dementia
- Lewy body dementia
Bridgette’s grandmother, who suffered from dementia, inspired her to work with patients who need memory care. She learned that treating patients with dementia is complex and requires a lot of support from their families. Bridgette strives to build relationships with her patients and their families to provide them with the best possible care.
Bridgette’s Training
Bridgette earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Queens University of Charlotte in North Carolina. She received her master’s degree in nursing, with a concentration in family nurse practitioner studies, from Nova Southeastern University in Tampa, Florida.
About Bridgette
Bridgette is certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She also holds National Institutes of Health Stroke and Trauma Nursing Core Course certifications.
Bridgette is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and American Academy of Nursing. She has served as graduate nurse preceptor.
Outside of work, Bridgette enjoys spending time with her husband and children and attending University of Central Florida football games.

The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions, shown above, from our nationally-recognized Press-Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
