Bio

David Maroof, PhD, is a neuropsychologist with Orlando Health Neuropsychology Consultants. 

Dr. Maroof earned a doctorate in clinical psychology with a concentration in neuropsychology and health from Yeshiva University, Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology in New York. He also holds a master’s degree in forensic psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, New York, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Hunter College, New York. 

As part of his doctorate program, Dr. Maroof completed an internship at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey. He went on to complete a postdoctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Baltimore.     

Dr. Maroof has extensive experience performing neuropsychological testing and evaluations involving a wide range of conditions, including ADHD, schizophrenia, hydrocephalus, dementia and movement disorders. He also is experienced in providing cognitive rehabilitation therapy and has published research on a variety of topics in his field. Dr. Maroof is a member of the American Psychological Association, National Academy of Neuropsychology, and the International Neuropsychological Society.

In addition to English, Dr. Maroof speaks Italian and Hebrew.
