Emily Anderson is a certified cancer genetic counselor with the Cancer Genetics and High Risk Care Center at the Orlando Health Cancer Institute. She has expertise in:
- Evaluating a patient’s risk for hereditary cancer
- Providing patients with genetic testing options and resources so they can make informed decisions about their health
- Coordinating and ordering genetic testing
Emily strives to empower patients and their families with knowledge of hereditary cancer risk and guide them through the genetic counseling and testing process.
Emily’s Training
As an undergraduate, Emily studied biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She earned her Master of Science (MS) in genetic counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Emily is certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling, and her professional memberships include the National Society of Genetic Counselors and Florida Association of Genetic Counselors.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with her family and exploring Central Florida.
