Bio
Erin Dorrer is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) and certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) with the Orlando Health Support Team for Aftercare and Resources Outpatient Center. She specializes in internal medicine and helps adult patients thrive after they are discharged from the hospital by providing:
- Post-discharge exam
- Medication management
- Social services referrals
- Care management services
- Disease prevention education
With more than a decade of nursing experience in Central Florida, Erin strives to develop therapeutic relationships to promote holistic and guideline-driven care.
Erin’s Training
Erin received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Adventist University of Health Sciences in Orlando. She earned her master’s degree in nursing and her doctor of nursing practice (DNP) from the University of South Florida in Tampa.
About Erin
Erin is certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is licensed as an APRN and registered nurse in Florida. Her professional memberships include the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau, an international honor society of nurses.
Outside of work, Erin is active in the Girl Scouts.
