Heather Freeman, MSN, APRN, AGNP-C, is an adult-gerontology nurse practitioner with the radiation oncology team at the Orlando Health Cancer Institiute. She works with prostate cancer patients and prostate cancer survivors to develop care and treatment plans to meet each patients ongoing needs. She also provides supoport and education to patients and their families.
Heather graduated magna cum laude with her master’s of science in nursing (MSN) degree from Florida Southern College in Lakeland. She earned her bachelor’s of science in nursing degree from Polk State College in Lakeland and an associate in nursing degree from State College of Florida Manatee-Sarasota in Bradenton.
Heather is board certified as an adult-gerontology nurse practitioner (AGNP-C) by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) by the Florida Board of Nursing. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) and the Polk County Advanced Practice Nurses Association.
