Bio
Jeffrey Robinson, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician with Orlando Health Medical Group FHV Health. He provides wellness and preventative care for the whole family, along with treatment for acute and chronic conditions. He has additional certification in geriatrics.
Family Medicine
As a family medicine physician, Dr. Robinson’s helps his patients maintain wellness through regular exams and screenings to identify potential health issues before they happen or early when they are most treatable. Each stage of life brings its own needs, and Dr. Robinson guides patients of every age through the recommended preventative care to keep their health on track.
Patients experiencing acute or chronic conditions or disease will find someone at the ready to provide ongoing assessment, coordination of care with specialists, and access to the most recent treatments and therapies to improve or maintain health.
Experienced Geriatric Care
Older patients have different medical needs and require the care of an experienced physician who is board-certified in geriatrics. Dr. Robinson helps patients navigate the many health issues often found in this age group. In addition to caring for patients with one or more conditions such as heart disease, diabetes or osteoporosis, he may also recommend screenings and tests for memory disorders, driving ability, hearing loss, balance problems and more.
Dr. Robinson’s Training
Dr. Robinson earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa and completed his residency at the University of Florida’s Jacksonville Health Education Program, where he served as chief resident.
About Dr. Robinson
In addition to being a diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice, Dr. Robinson is actively involved in his profession. He has held leadership roles and committee assignments with the Florida Academy of Family Physicians, American Geriatric Society, and American Heart Association.
He has also been a member of American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Directors Association, American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, and Lake County Medical Society.
