Jennifer Rickerds is a board-certified registered dietitian working with oncology patients at Orlando Health Cancer Institute. She helps patients meet their individual nutrition needs to maintain optimal health during cancer treatments and afterward. Her areas of expertise include:
- Inpatient oncology nutrition
- Outpatient oncology nutrition
- Specialty nutrition for trauma/surgical critical care patients
- Other nutrition support services
Jennifer completed a dietetic internship through Andrews University’s program at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center. She earned a bachelor of science degree in food science and human nutrition from the University of Florida in Gainesville.
Jennifer is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Oncology Nutrition Dietetics Practice Group. She has been published in several peer-reviewed publications and has spoken in the Central Florida area about nutrition for cancer prevention.
