Bio
Dr. John Gorman is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist with Orlando Health Medical Group Radiology. He cares for patients who need interpretation of their diagnostic imaging, including:
- X-rays
- Ultrasounds
- Computed tomography (CT)
- Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
Dr. Gorman is an active-duty lieutenant commander in the U.S. Navy. He has served in a number of leadership positions at Naval Hospital Jacksonville in Florida and Naval Medical Center San Diego.
He believes that understanding his patients’ social, mental and physical well-being enables him to provide the best possible care.
Dr. Gorman’s Training
As an undergraduate, Dr. Gorman studied veterinary science at the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Science in Tucson, graduating summa cum laude.
He went on to earn his degree in osteopathic medicine from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Vallejo, California, where he was valedictorian. Dr, Gorman completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Naval Medical Center San Diego.
About Dr. Gorman
He is a diplomate of the American Board of Radiology and is board certified in diagnostic radiology by the same organization.
Outside of work, Dr. Gorman enjoys playing lacrosse, hiking, running and snowboarding. He believes participating in sports has helped him becomes a better doctor by understanding the challenge of overcoming injuries.

Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
